Just a quick update.
MB World @ Brooklands replied to my email enquiring on the numbers for the meet.
I explained that I'm not too sure yet, waiting to see their response.
In the meantime I see there have been no more responses?
Surely we can get a few more people to attend?

Also someone over at the MBO Forums has recommended we do lunch at the local golf club pub: http://www.silvermere-golf.co.uk/index.asp
Any opinions or suggestions?

Do we need to decide a timetable for the day or play it by ear?
are we doing any "driving experience" at brooklands? If so i think we need to book first.

I must admit I'm such a conservative driver I am really tempted by an hour in an AMG being shown how to drive fast!!!

It would be great to do a driving experience but I'm treating this meet as more of a dry run/get to know people with the view of organising something big for 2008. But I guess anyone who wants to have a go on the track could book, I don't mind watching!

Still no news from Brooklands yet about the parking area, but I can't see it being a problem.
Could the names on the maybe list possibly say yeah or nay?
I guess 11 cars isn't too bad but 20 would be better

As far as a time table goes maybe something like this maybe?
Feel free to amend, comment, suggest!

10.30 - 11.00am Meet up, pics, talk etc

12.30pm Food and drinks

2.30pm explore MB world

4.30pm

Drive

The guys over at the MBO Forums recommend eating at the local golf clubs pub:

Can you please put me down as a maybe. I went to the staff MB world day as a mate works in IT for them. I may be able to get him to come with me and see if we can possibly arrange something with them too
