Track needs

Hey Easty, If I were to show up at the track for one of your track days...what would I need?

Helmet, gloves, $$, car as is or anything special , etc.

Just a Helmet certified sm2000 or sm2005. Get your brake fluid swapped out if it's not been done in the last 6months. also theres a tech form you'll need to get signed any garage will do it. just saying you have seatbelts and the car is sound.

No cost to use the track? Where does one get the form?

Lets take a step back sorry. The days are generally run by different local clubs. the ones I attend are the PCA clubs for maverick and lonestar.

These events are DE days. They cost about 200-250$ for two days and you'll get about 8 25 min sessions in total. For new drivers you'll have 1 on 1 driving instruction. these guys will basically show you round the track, show you where the flag stations are ect. once you start going quite fast they'll promote you into a group where you can go solo.

Most of the local events in texas can be booked through www.clubregistration.net thats quite a cool site which also records your driving history and what groups you were promoted to.. anything else mate?

My pleasure, I'm not sure I'll be doing any more in texas ;( due to visiting England very soon and I may be finishing my work here early in the new year.
