Saw another SLK this morning. Caspian Blue 2006 SLK 280 or 350. Bermuda Orchard Road, in Chester VA (my neighborhood). Wednesday, July 26, at 10:20AM. Didn't know there was another SLK in the hood. Anyone here claim it?

Saw 2 SLK's on my way to Reef Point, Newport Beach late afternoon today (July 26th). Both were sighted 5 minutes apart on Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). Both were Diamond Silver. One was a 350 parked on PCH northbound in Laguna Beach, the other was moving fairly fast southbound and the gorgeous Asian lady caught my eye. I noticed the car first, then the lady or was it the other way around?

I saw my wife driving the SLK yesterday, going the opposite direction. WOW, she drives a beautiful car.

I went down to west Hollywood today for dinner. I saw 6 R171 SLK's outside in the 15 minutes while I was waiting for my friend. Yes...6!

Either the SLK is becoming realllllllly common, or it's just west Hollywood.

One of the SLK's I saw was a black 350 with the AMG kit and black wheels. Very nice ride...I wonder if he's on this forum.

I saw two R170 SLKs yesterday in Prince George, VA. A nice maroon 230/320 early morning and and a silver 230/320 in the afternoon. The R171 SLKs are more rare in Virginia, but not uncommon. Lately, I've seen at least one SLK a day.

I believe I have seen 3 R171's since October here. Buffalo area doesn't have as much money as California i guess

Or people here are concerned about driving such cars in the winter salt.

I've maybe seen the same number of R170's.

Dinoman might see my old red R170 over in Rochester area. Someone over there bought it.

I have seen a couple R171 SLK's in the Concord, Lexington area west of boston. Two were Irridium Silver like my own, and one was Caspian Blue I believe they call it. Any of you on the board?

Okay, so after posting that I haven't seen many SLKS, I just got back from a short drive to a friend's and saw 2. One was a silver SLK 320 and the other was a white R171 with a blond female driver. Didn't get a good look at the female or the car because of traffic

or maybe just:

"Spotted"

I saw a gold colored R170 yesterday (July 29th) on Lake Forest Drive, near Muirlands in the city of Lake Forest. License plate started with 5Lxxxxx. Anyone from this forum?

I just got back from driving from Western New York to around Indianapolis, Indiana. About an 11 hour drive each way. I saw ONE SLK. It was an R170.

Saw lots of Corvettes, lots of BMWs, and even a Lotus.

I guess not many running SLKs the expressways here.

Saw a pewter SLK with the top retracted on August 1, 6:45 pm, on San Miguel Rd, at Fashion Island, Newport Beach on my way to Grand Rounds. Anyone from this forum? I don't think the occupants saw me.
