Saw a pewter SLK with the top retracted on August 1, 6:45 pm, on San Miguel Rd, at Fashion Island, Newport Beach on my way to Grand Rounds. Anyone from this forum? I don't think the occupants saw me.

Spotted a White SLK350 on the ramp off of Rt4 East heading into Fort Lee. Couldn't see the driver.

I spotted a Mars Red SLK350 in Woodridge, Illinois last weekend. They must be used to driving VW's because they didn't use their turn signals. I was in a rented 'poontang (Red 2007 Mustang).

After living in Miami Beach with all the lights everywhere, I forgot how dark it was out in the 'burbs of Chicago. I must say, the Mars Red, in the dark, with just the headlights on and foglights off, doesn't look nearly as interesting in the front end as it does in places with a little light bouncing off the curves.

I regularly see 3 silver SLK350's and 2 silver SLK280's on the causeway from Miami Beach, and around the beach. I have also seen a silver SLK55 at the Publix grocery store here, a black SLK350 at a party at my house (120 people, didn't find out who had it), and a Firemist red SLK350 around the beach.

A note to one of the silver SLK350 owners: Markos, when it's 73 degrees out, there is no reason for cruising the beach at 30 MPH with the top up. Especially since your shaved head has no hair to toss out of shape!

A note to the people with the other Mars Red SLK350 in Miami Beach: Thank you, I got to see your special ordered car to see how the Red looks, and got to hear the HK sound system with my CD tester when the car first came in to Coral Gables. The creme interior does look very nice on the red.

I see one nearly ever day. a 350 on the lockheed car park in fort worth. Never had chance to chat with the guy or gal yet.. Maybe we nee some slkworld flyers to put on spotted cars.. hehe

Apparently, someone spotted my SLK in the parking garage at work since I got a handnote on my window advising me to check out slkworld.com
Dunno if the guy has also an SLK.

normally never see even one slk. today i saw 2 silver like mine. one in valrico fl at bell shoals and bloomingdale avenue and the other in brandon, fl at outback restaurant. anyone? anyone?

Either the SLK is becoming realllllllly common, or it's just west Hollywood.

This is a cool folder! I always wonder when i see an slk on the street as to whether it's a member of the forum. Might have to take more notice of the details of the car next time.

One that stands out is a black r171 slk in the ruislip area, license plate is personalised with a letter, then number 7, then three letters.
