05 350 Oil leak already

Well I'm a dummy I should have checked the car over better before I purchased it but it was so cold out I rushed a little.
I just noticed a little puddle of oil in my garage.

I tried to locate the leak with the car up on ramps but I cant seem to find it. The oil is running down the drivers side catalytic converter.
So I would imagine it's a valve cover gasket

Is this common on the 350's?

I'm still under warranty till may of 09 so I made an appointment for Tuesday to bring it in. I needed to take it in anyway since the drivers side heated seat is out.

This is the only other car I've had leak oil since my 1981 camaro when I was 18 very disappointing in a MB.

It was a plug in the back of the head.
They told me it's a common problem for the o-ring to go bad.

Did they have to remove the head to replace the o-ring? How much did you pay for the repair, if you don't mind me asking? I'm going to make a point of checking mine next time I'm under the hood.

they did not have to remove the head.
And it was covered under warranty so I'm not sure but I wouldn't expect it to be to much to replace an o-ring.
