mod reading, pls feel free to move this thread to wherever you might consider appropriate; at a short glance i did not find a better place to post this, sorry:

trying to customize my avatar, but soon as i upload a photo, the size it gets screened is too big.
is there anything i can do to adjust the size?

i do understand this question might sound silly to most of you, but to be honest my pc knowledge is pure business oriented.

you may want to upload the pix to photobucket.com (free). Resize it in photobucket.com and then save the resized image unto your PC. Upload the resized pix as your avatar.

or you can try a freeware called irfanview.

Or you can use MSPaint if you have Windows. There is an option to adjust height and width by %.
