speaking on mobile phone with roof down

I had big trouble talking on my mobile phone with the roof down when driving. The microphone has a noise cancelling feature that would interrupt the conversation so much it was useless trying to talk.

I installed the perspex draught stopper between the headrests and can now speak on the phone to people at 100kmh (60mph) with no problems.

This was the only problem I had with my SLK200 and it is now solved so I am over the moon.

Out of curiosity, do you drive a R170 or R171 SLK200? Is your phone a bluetooth type device or handheld? Did it cut out with the side windows up?

Going over the variances.
