It seems that Dan has done this in one of the clients cars at their dealership, I assume if he was able to do it your dealership might be able to retrofit the airscarf.

If you don't ask you don't get but i would be very surprised if they agreed unless they specialize in retrofit's as its not a Merc approved procedure.

I just want to point out this is not a five minute job so if they agree be prepared to fork out the cash.

AirScarf is a neat option. I have it on my SLK 55. My wife's 2006 SLK 350 doesn't have AirScarf or heated seats. She's so cold natured, she only drives top down in her SLK in nice toasty weather. Not sure what a retrofit would cost, but I'm sure it would be cost prohibitive for most. I wouldn't pay the price. PhyscoAzn, do you have heated seats? If so, at higher speeds, the heated seats are more effective than AirScarf. For those considering a new or used SLK, get the AirScarf that comes with heated seats. You won't regret it.

This price can't be carried over to other currency's very easy because of different part prices and taxes but to fit AirScarf (heated seats not really required with it because of wiring and control) you looking at £1000 - 2000 GBP depending on spec.
