Today posts or New Posts

I know the New post is probably a more complicated function, But I find I prefer the option I get when I'm not logged in and it comes up today's post.

Does anyone else think a link to Todays or this week posts would be better than New post, I just find I miss so much stuff I later see when looking through the individual sections. I'm sure if we had a link for 20 latest post or something it would be much more useful. thought's?

That's better - I know what you mean bout missing posts using the 'new posts' button. vBulletin allows the following, which should sort out the problem:-

I've been using the New Posts exclusively and have never noticed missing anything. I might guess that your browser has cookies disabled?

The only time I have had a problem was a while back when I got impatient with the login dialog and I pressed the "proceed now" or whatever button and what happened was the actual login recorded a time and then the button press recorded a time shortly after that and only records between those times showed up. (was that a long enough sentence)

So as far as I know, using the New Posts for me has never missed anything.

I agree with Easty - when I login to the site, I just hit new posts (I don't actually look at the thread, hence me posting crap to R170 owners occasionally) - sometimes, if I look at a thread I've started, (and would expect replies to), I don't see anything if I hit 'New Posts', but there have bin replies......

I've noticed that "new posts" doesn't always worked, I've missed a few post too. I guess if it's really important then I will get a PM.

ok... perhaps i'm missing something here (or getting something that others aren't). even when logged in, the, "today's posts" option is available under the "quick links" tab. i use it regularly to stay current...

Bill T, I also use the Today's Post under QuickLinks. This site is VERY VERY good.
