So , I invited you guys here to pick your brains about the creation of a magazine, the idea would be to start small, maybe just the SLK Owners, then grow it to include all high end convertible sports cars.

You guys are are very active here, and I think this forum is outstanding, but we have to do something to keep it alive. a magazine might be able to help. about 84% of adults read magazines, by creating a wider market (highend sports convertibles, vs just SLKs) we open our distribution base up significantly, with that comes more advertisers... Please Feel free to jump in and tell me what you think.

I think we could charge a little higher rate, but include a forum membership with it. if your an SLK owner you get SLKworld membership. if your a 911 owner you get 911world membership...

I think people would love to have a paper magazine they can read anywhere, keep copies in the garage for remember how to take of that pesky CANBUS cover or keep a copy at your desk for some light reading when in between meetings.

here some section ideas, are:
1. Featured Ride
2. Modifications (great area for adverts)
3. Tools of the trade (specific tools related to working on high end car)
4. How Tos
5. Classifieds
6. Photo Gallery

some other names I considered:
1. Top Down Driver
2. Going Topless
3. Lets Drive (not so much)
