At Italia Nido Light weight 18"

Hey guys, I just want to know your thoughts about these wheels I might save $ and get them this year; Would they look nicer if I powdercoated them Anthratice or Black?

They look nice alroumi at a great price too. I would go andrancite over black. 8.5" for the rears only? You can go up to 10" w/o a problem.

My definition of wheel weight per wheel, it's not a standard, just my opinion

light = less than 20lbs
medium = 20lbs - 24lbs
heavy light = 25 - 27lbs
just heavy = 27lbs - 30lbs
too damn heavy = more than 30lbs.

so they got the lightweight part correct, just forgot to put the heavy part in front of it.

, I hope you don't get offended, but most purist especially the ones on 6speedonline wouldn't call 26lbs per wheel lightweight.

I am not very picky with the weight, the stock amg's I have weight 26 front and 28 rear so I still lose weight with those new Wheels, I am checking other manufacturers right now

Those are nice, you can't go wrong with mesh style on any sports car, it's a classic.

I am checking the renntech wheels right now, Ive heard they are very little; the good thing is that I am not in a hurry

The lightest rims found on Internet was about 15 lbs but unfortunately not in Mercedes bolt pattern. You could get them for almoust any type of Japaneese car. I think it was OZ wheels.

17" and 18"s right? the lightest I've seen for 19"s are 18lbs, carlsson ultralights but they are very expensive.

The guys at 6speedonline got me all started up on the BBS LM wheels, They are def on my list; Anywhere I could check the prices of them ?

18" OZ Ultraleggera's come in at about 18.5lbs in size to fit R171's.

Those will look odd on a benz, it looks alright on porsche's and bimmer's. I've never been a fan of BBS LM's that makes me a rare species. Seems everyone loves them to death. They look outdated to me.

Those might look good on my SLK55 if I painted them matte black, would spacers be good to give those rear wheels a wider track ?

I checked tire rack; they have those for the SLK350 but not for the 55, I am quiet sure they would fit
