| I've used the Radar several times while the system was installed but today I got chance to use the Laser shifter and maybe I saved someone else. I was on the freeway on the way home and crusing at about 75, wasn't really too bust I was in the middle lane and there was a silver M3 coming down the fast lane probably doing 85+ I was really watching him as we were aproaching some trucks in my lane and I was hoping to get over behind him. Before he got passed me the shifters warning went off. I couldn't see anything as the trucks were still in front, so I slow to 65 fast and then the shifter goes off again as the M3 brakes lights go on very hard. then I see the officer appear, lurking in the shadows under the bridge. i'm happy now crusing at 65 and expecting the copper to jump in and nick the M3, but he doesn't, maybe the shifter saved his neck? Very happy with the kit just detecting the laser when there wasn't even line of sight.

| I didn't know they were using it IN fort wort, but heard of guys over in dallas who had experienced it. While I've had the device going only a little while now its all been radar i've detected. This guy was in a different area where I've never seen a cop before in 12 months of doing the same run. Maybe hey was from a different unit or something? It's funny because I also have an alternative route home which includes a few nice corners and the second day I was using this unit I took this route home and was giving the car a little in the corner and the radar went off and there was a cop sat round the corner where Ive never seen one before. This thing really come into it's own.

| Looks like the radar and laser shifter saved you at least 2 if not 3 tickets.

| Well, Easty, you're getting your money's worth from it, that's for sure. I'm not sure if it's worth having any type of prevention or even detecection system for a car in the uk, there are fixed speed cameras, which i expect any decent sat nav would warn you about, and even though there are speed traps set up by the police, i've yet to come across more than 2 or 3 in my 9 years of driving. |

| That suprises me i'm from the blackpool area and used to be out on the bikes alot and the amount of mobile units over there is rife. just in a 30min run througha popular bike route you could fine 5 units hiding in the worst places. And in blackpool it's really bad, the mobile laser/video vans are bloody everywhere.
