That's a great deal!
I bought the same thing locally in US for $300 USD installed.

I just ordered a pair of 'pig ears' (wheel trim spoilers) from that seller. I'll let everyone know how they turn out.

Me too! Couldn't tell from the photo whether it has the recess for the high level brake light, otherwise it looks good

Did anyone email and ask the seller to see if it has a small recessed area for the high/eye level brake lamp?

When I ordered my pig ears I requested that they be painted in a color not shown on the site (my car is arctic white #650 - not alabaster white). I got a reply back from the seller (in Taiwan) that stated that they would use the requested color and that painting would take two days. Plus the reply was in perfect English. So far so good.

Anyone ordering any of these parts requiring painting should verify their paint code and request that color.

Lee

Default Spoiler Arrived

So I actually got round to buying the spoiler a week later than I intended but the good news was it was even cheaper than the original post at £78.95 and free carriage.
they sent out the wrong one by mistake and mailed me to tell me what they had done but they also sent the correct one a day later and I now have two spoilers I guess they will want to collect the wrong one at some time.

Anyway the correct one turned up today a mere 9 days after I paid for it and I have placed it on the boot and it looks great.

Will clean the car tomorrow and try to build up the courage to fit it and then will post pics.

So far So Good

Cool. Can't wait to see the photos.

Tip: use small strips of low-tack masking tape to mark the corners (like an L shape) on the boot while dry fitting before final assembly.

The Post office tried to deliver my 'pig ears' today. I'll pick them up tomorrow.
It took 2 weeks until they actually shipped my order (there was some screw up) but it got here in 3 days from Taiwan once it shipped.

Installed my rear fender lip spoilers ('pig ears') a couple of hours ago. Product quality is quite good. They were a perfect fit. Nicely painted, too. The only downside is that the paint color was slightly 'whiter' than my car's arctic white paint. Since they are positioned fairly low on the car the color difference is not noticeable at all. However, that may not be the case for a trunk lid spoiler. I specified the exact paint color code for my car which is not the alabaster white shown on their web site.

Update on my fender lip spoilers. In sunlight the color difference between the spoilers and the rest of the car bugged me. So I ordered a can of spray paint from a domestic supplier using the factory paint code from my SLK's door jam. I repainted the spoilers with the new paint and guess what - the color is the same as it was originally on the spoilers and does not match my car exactly. Not sure what to think here. Is my car painted in a different color of white? If so, the paint code on the car door jam and on the window price sticker are both wrong. Or more likely, the paint formula being used by other providers is wrong. In any case if you have a white SLK I'd be careful about ordering a spoiler for it that is pre-painted.

Instead of using the colour code, why not have a reputable paint shop match the colour using the colour wavelength of your car? Weathering effects can cause changes in the colour over time, sunlight can cause very subtle "yellowing" effect.

All true but since my car is only 5 months old and the area were the spoilers are installed is low on the car and thus less likely to have faded, I thought I could avoid the hassle and expense of dealing with a paint shop. So for the time being I'm not going to use the spoilers. If the car ever needs any body-work (knock on wood!) I have them painted then.
