| Anyone know how to remove the door pins off my slk55, i've read somewhere that you unscrew them but when i try it seems as though its going to tear off!!. is there another way? |

| They just unscrew. Very hard though, I had to use a pair of pliers and the original plastic ones are not going to be able to go back on the car. |

| They do screw off but need moderate force. I covered the black plastic door pin with a rug and used a pair of needle-nose pliers to slowly unscrew, small steps each time. There is risk of damage to the black plastic door pin.

| Ypu, that's the way to do it. You do need a good thick cloth like a folded towel. A thin cloth will lead to damage to the fins/ribs. The metal ones do look much better. |

| Just did this this morning! The aluminum pins make such a big difference! I think it is a real "bang for the buck" mod! I just gripped them with my fingers and twwwissstttedd until they finally twisted off. |
