|  Bluetooth for phone and ipod dock installation? ok, so i upgraded my work phone to an iphone so my old phone dock for hadsfree is now rendered useless. i was going to get a bluetooth car kit installed by my dealer and also at the same time get an ipod kit installed also... what sort fo price? i heard around £300 which i thought was very steep. any hints or tips on this guys?  |

| 300 pounds is around what I've paid for,however I've added the Ipod kit at the same time. I must say its worth it, as its a manufacturers part you can always get them to fix it if it was not working correctly and you will still benefit for having your warranty to be intact. Go for it, you will like it but I am not sure how many days it will take your service dept to install as mine did it in 3 days.

 | What bluetooth car kit? If you mean the one that integrates into the car (fits in place of a cradle) then you don't need it dealer installed. They will charge you labour to release a cradle and slot a new one in, 2 minute job and its meant to be done by the end-user. Part is not worth £300. iPod kit will be a few hours work and i think £1xx something for the parts but I'm not sure about that from memory.
