Default Chrome or Body coloured Vent / Grill

hello all, my first post on here and I have searched hi and low but I want to find either some chrome hood lattices and radiator grill but cannot see them anywhere. I think the black plastic looks cheap for such a fine car,
looked at the piecha site but cannot find a picture that shows them in chrome?????

help!!!

thanks guys, performanceproducts have the radiator grill strips but I cannt see anyone that does the bonnet vents in chrome they all just seem to be the SLR fins that you put on top of the black plastic?????

Sorry guys its the black plastic lattice work that I want to replace in chrome or silver the black plastic looks so cheap!

I remember seeing a picture of the chrome hood honeycomb grills several years ago. I think they were on a Lorinser equiped car. I remember thinking how nice they looked and that I hadn't seen them anywhere else.

Perhaps you can have a shop chrome the honeycomb vents for you instead of spraying chrome type paint on it.

it is very expensive and difficult to chrome over plastic. the best choice is to spray with chrome paint and a thick layer of gloss over it.

They are close, but not exact matches - evidently there are copyright issues. You can get the originals with the grills for ~ $109 each from discount parts houses...

I just fitted chrome fins to my Tellurite Silver SLK and they look great. Great view from the drivers seat. I got them from Marcus at Piecha. He answered my email straight away and it was 9.30pm in the UK! They are great quality and easy to fit.
