Default Problems installing the Smarttop module

I own a 06 RHD slk350 and I'm having some difficuilty installing the smarttop module. I got through removing the caps and carpetting fairly easily but i'm stuck on some parts, I'd be glad if anyone could give me a hand.

. First I do not quite understand step 9 where it states
"becaus of the module's universal compatibility and different pin-assignments used by MB all moduls are shipped with just the black pins on the ends of the wiring harness, along with the needed plastic caps. Insert the pins on the module wire harness into the supplied plastic caps........."

When I got the module the wires ar already inserted in the caps in the correct positions as stated in the pictures, so I'm just going to take it as I dont have to do anything here.

Then for Step 11 about the red wires, I've literially searched for more than 1 hour and I can only locate 2 red wires, one is extremely big, and the other one is intertwined with another white wire. I've already red some of the other posts of previous installations so I know neither is the one I want, but there is no other red wire!?!? I see a red and purple one but thats for SLs instructions. I do not want to tap my wires in the fuse boxes because that can be easily spotted by MB mechs and also its on the wrong side. What should i do here? any clues?

That is not bad for a RHD vehicle. It took me about the same time on my first install and that's on a LHD vehicle. Subsequent ones take about 60 to 90 minutes.
