I agree. I purchased one of the originals and really liked it. After I got my SLK 55, I wanted another. No such luck. I found an alternative on eBay, for about the same price as Lenny's and has 36 modes. Two wire installatioin and very small. There are other sources for those that come in the runner up position for DSBs.

You can build it yourself like I did.
It is easy (thanks to Lenny instructions and also etyu resistor pic).
It take max 30 minutes to assembly it and 30 minutes max to install it.
I used an ARCOL HS50-30R resistor but you can buy a HS150 or more if you like not less then 5 by the way.
The cost is 3 dollars more or less!
