| Clarification, as in $5000? If so, I had no idea they cost that much to include installation. What are the benefits to you? Just curious.

I suppose the real question should be: Why does any person modify their car? Answer: Either for functional purposes or Cosmetic Appeal, or a combination of both. This modification is for Aesthetic purposes. At first, I disapproved of the modification until i saw them and I have to say they look really good. I think they're really unique and people just stare whenever you open the door. Furthermore, It's real "COOL" haha | |

| ya LSD are nice doors. If i went for doors, i think i would go vertical doors inc. I hear those are the two to choose between. Look great. 5000$ with install? I think you got ripped off. |

Baron, Your opinion is fine but before you say he got ripped off just cause of the cost compared to the US (Vert Doors Inc) versions maybe you should get some info first please. I also have the hinges from LSD-doors.com and I chose them mainly for one reason only. These doors are very eye catching in the public eye but as all of us like to modify and tune-up their cars we want to trick out our cars as much as possible without sacrificing quality or safety period. When i did my research on LSD Doors and Verticle Inc I chose the LSD Doors because they are TUV approved (The German equiv of the DOT) AND they are crash tested. Yes they cost a little bit more than Vert inc's product but the added safety was worth it to me and probably tai230k also. Just my 2 cents. P.S. No offense intended Baron.... )

| The place we brought the car specializes in modifying many exotic cars (lambos, ferraris, and etc...). We wanted the work done well and done right so spending a little more on quality work is always far better when the mechanics are experienced. I'm not sure he was ripped out but I'm sure he paid a bit more. Nevertheless, the doors are great. |

| i'd love scissor doors....would really help when getting out of parking spaces, do you notice how your shoes either kick the speaker in the door, or scrape the chrome door plates? or else you really have to contort. I know i know, tight space is only in my garage, but that means at least twice a day... |

| looks good, but i have had my experiences with vertical door kits, and they are very eye catching and cool, but nufortunately over here they have become very common to rice racer modders, and an slk just wouldn't suit the look. i think your car looks great, get some more pics up of it!! |

| Not to scare you guys but look at these pics (http://iglobe.be/lsd/) of my first install of this kit. LSD replaced the kit with a new one and sprayed some kind of protection on it. So far no problems anymore. kr, Bram |

| Not to disappoint you, but I got my lsd doors installed for 1500 euros in Belgium. Actually it was 1250€ but the poor guy wasn't making any money so I let him raise the bill |

| Marco, that car looks pretty good with the LSD doors and yes with the amg kit it will give it another meaning a very aggressive look. Thanks for sharing with us!
