9moon, how was the service @ tws? they're about 20 minutes from my home and until now i didn't know they existed. i'd be interested in going over there to check things out if their level of service met your expectations. thanks.

u know, with all honesty, my friends and brothers been fixin their cars for years and ive never seen any shop that really cares for their customers... their owner (sander) is really great to work with.. he'll give u his honest opinion and will listen to what u wanna do since it is ur car.. he coulda made extra money and pushed me to change my brakes to brembo, instead, he adviced me that i can do more stuff in my interior with the money im gonna spend on breaks... the guy is pure honesty!! i would call there once in a while just to chat and he'll even have time to do that.. unlike other shops, u kinda can tell that they got no business talkin to u unless u are gonna purchase something from them.. i would recommend to even just check out the joint and be ur own judge!! the guy (sander) loves what he's doin and it's really great to know that u aint gonna get fooled for ur money!! infact, i just sent my cusin there so that he can purchase his kit for his new Z4 and his wife's new 335!!

| I agree with Sander, You should look in to making your Interior more unique why not take it to Brabus at CEC for the Whole interior make over ? That would be a great start!

supp al... u know, it really is a great idea, but on the back of my mind is a question that asks me, what if.......... u wanna trade this in after 2 to 3 years... would i have then wasted a bunch of money and end up giving it away?? i really love cars, and it kinda makes me wonder whether this modification should be enuff.. it is addicting tho!!

YEA me too. Must be a West coast thing. I like the dual fog lights, bet they aint brite as my six Hella drivin lights on the hood of my slk. An that little tiny radio aerial, my 10 foot whip looks kooler at 80 mph, all laid back an stuff. That coon tail really whips when you go fast. But best of all SLK28, minds me of the chain saw I used one time, had Z28 scratched on the cover. When I took the saw to the Chevy dealer for service, he just laughed at me, never did figure out why, just went home wid a broke saw. I put AMG badges on my Kubota tractor and the KIOTI tractor, send pitures later. 9, that is a very nice car, all kidding aside, mony well spent. Personalizng a car will always detract from resale value but if you love it, enjoy it.

| Yeah looks it but then the pics have probably been resized and that sometimes gives the badges a squashed and tiling off look. 9MOON, if your gonna move the badge the Brabus ones come supplied on a plastic sheet all you do is remove the backing paper and apply the letters using the plastic they are already correctly aligned so you don't need to take them off and put each letter on by hand

9, i would def go for the interior. if you have the money to spend and if it makes you ahppy then feed your addiction and go for it. Who cares if you sell it 3 years down the line, at leats you loved it when you had it.

Thank you very much for your prompt response, this is my first time on a forum of any kind so bare with me. I was trying to put in a signature(2xxX2xx) but it isn't showing up. Is there a size limitation unless I am a paid member?

Oh Boy this is just what I would like to do save for the 19" wheels. I mean I like the wheel look but I prefer more tire. Too much construction going on where I live. Agree Brabus on the left, probably replaces exactly. I had a quote from Brabus to do pretty much what you have done ,was $10,000 and change. Not sure I want to spend that much on a 280

Yikes, thats a huge chunk of money. I just want a few parts out of that setup. But I wasn't able to find the prices for those from the site GMPperformance. Parts like the rollbar, rear spoiler, and diffuser. Anyone know those prices off the top of their heads?
