| ok coming into summer time and i have just bought a new spoiler and green filters, so im in the mood for modifying the slk. should i put a splitter on or not? my preffered options at the minute are:- ART front splitter and side skirts. AMG - front and skirts and rear 55AMG- front bumper with kleeman splitter adn AMG skirts. now, i have to say favouring the ART stuff. so my question is should i go for it or not? |

| Go for the ART for several reasons: No one has them on their SLK over on the 3 SLKforums, plus they are quiet rare and look good on non sport package equipped SLK.

| Sounds good but could i recommend using the SLK Sport pack bumper instead of the 55 one when i see the vents on a different model it just shouts pretender to me. Both bumpers are very similar to each other the one just missing the vents and being more rounded but of course thats just a personal thing the rest sounds fine to me i think the 55 side skirts should be standard on them all.

| Your wish is my command, ART body kit: ![]() ![]() AMG body kit with Kleemann front spoiler: ![]() ![]() I agree with alroumi, if you get ART, you'll be the first on all the mb forums. It looks classy and very unique, and of course my car, with the AMG package w/o the vents. it's alot more rounder, which I prefer, not as square as the SLK55. ![]() ![]()

| Thanks Ynot for posting the pics up, your like an slk photo archive! im also leaning towards the ART front and skirts. don't like the back, but then im happy with rear of my car anyway with the exhaust and spoiler should look good. I like the ART due to the individualness of it, as stated by most. The second car with the Brabus wheels is what made me want the Kleeman kit, but as said it has been done. The AMG sport pack ,ala YNot is beautiful, but YNot has it and any slk i see with reminds me of his car, so i want individuality. I'll keep you all posted, should be next few weeks i purchase. Any other options please share, brabus was another option but too expensive. |

The AMG sport pkg can get a little boring, since it's a factory option, it's rare around here so I like it. Anyway, mods are about personality and individuality, most importantly, it's about what makes you happy. I sure whatever you get it's going to be nice and different. Yeah, I have to say, it's one of my all time favorite designs, looks better in person.
