The 4th pix is of the right-angle ATO add-a-circuit.
Thanks for the picks. However on my fuse block the 2 open spots you are pointing to in the picture were used up. The only one that was left open was the one all the way at the bottom of the row. Everything else was full.

I think the roof modules should be shipped with the ATO add-a-circuit instead of the benz fuse. Then it would be a 100% fit no matter what.

I suggest going all out and installing carPC though, defintely worth it....and the V1 via USB is awesome.
Back on the topic of the LCD... The rear plate camera i ordered is actually great at night. It has a min of 0.3Lux which means it can be almost pitch dark. It also has a wide angle lens. For the front camera, i ordered one from Ebay. 30 IR led but no wide angle lens.

Tested the install with the rear camera all wired up... looks amazing. I will post pictures over the weekend of the rear camera, wiring, and the LCD in action... so stay tuned

I wish that the V1 came out with a video overlay module. For example, you plug the module directly into a video in, and then plug the other video source into it like a DVD player or whatever. So that when the V1 picks up something, it overlays the video display with the V1 warning... now that would be hot because no PC is required. and if it had a USB for to program it, WOW... heaven

Ok, if that's available, I'm in. Maybe we can lobby V1 to manufacture/produce it.

The V1 has been out for over 10+ years... imagine, same product (just upgraded transistors/eeproms/etc..) that's been selling for 10+ years. Talk about cash cow.

Think their R&D needs some motivation. Develop more add-ons!

Drum Roll please....

Here is the first few pics off my camera phone... Sorry the quality sucks.

The rear plate Cam in action. Quality of the rear image is amazing for such a small camera. And it is a wide angle view.

The rear camera activates automatically when i switch to reverse, and can also be selected for constant on during driving if needed.

The LCD screen is still not fastened in all the way and there is no trim yet either. I am waiting on those few remaining parts and then it will be sealed up. Also i need to adjust the angle of the camera to point down a little more.

::I blurred out my plate, though i'm not sure why its needed, but everone on forums seems to be doing it ::

Fab job so far mate. I was wondering about the LCD. in that position could there be problems with moisture from the Aircon, or will you have to make sure the vents are closed if you have the aircon on full?

I've actually tested the concept already. The aircon does not form any condensation. As a matter of fact does a nice job cooling the LCD itself.

But if anything, i may just turn them all the way to the sides or keep them closed 50%. thus far open all the way has not been an issue in really hot weather. In the winter perhaps would be best just closed not to heat the unit up.

Great, was just a consideration. Does the screen come with any kind of attachments to fit the door to the unit or is this going to be a DIY concieved design.

Screen actually has control buttons on top, which will get covered up. But i plan to use a strip of either double tape, or velcro to do the trick. There is enough flat surface to scurely fasten it on.

The LCD comes with a full functioning remote. So the top buttons are useless. I will have to drill a tiny hole where the IR sensor is though. Won't be really noticable though.

I think Velcro is more effiecent than double tape

Velco is wonderfully strong in some forms. I have little pads for my helmet camera. A 20mmX70mm patch holding on the camera + hardened case at 180mph. Sure it'll be good enough for the drawer door.
