Radio Bezel

Does anyone know where to get a proper double DIN bezel for the R171 ????

Mine came with a piece of pressed wood covered in gray vinyl. I didn't like the look at all. I have since stained it black. I think it looks somewhat better but would like to find a plastic one or leather if at all possible. Something that would match the dashboard materials a bit better than what I have.

This post by ghostdunks hopefully will point you in the right direction:

"CT23MB09 - Noted as suitable for : Mercedes SLK (2006 onwards / R171). FINALLY! When this arrived, I could tell straightaway that it would fit much better than the other 2. Finish was also very good and did a much better job(in my opinion) of matching the OEM dash than the Metra kit. Didn't come with much in the way of instructions though. Ended up using all the parts in the picture except for the cage(top right of pic), which I couldn't figure out how to use and didn't seem to need anyway. The foam pads I ended up using to help support the headunit once installed, and I think it helped with vibration dampening, etc.. RECOMMENDED."
