i use the buttons on mine I just wish I had the paddles instead. I use manual 100% on the road S-mode on the track and C-mode gets as much use as cruize control.. ive never used it. I wonder when the date is that they changed from buttons to paddles. My car is an Oct 2005, 2006 model.

Same here, i over rev in the first 2 gears which is why i've only switched to M mode twice over the last two weeks, i'll wait until i pass the 1000 mile marker before trying again (which isn't long, i've already done 850 miles!).

My build date was February 2006 and I have the buttons. I drive in S-mode in town, M-mode out in the country on back roads.

To have real fun, go where there aint much to crash into. In M mode in 2nd gear go half steer to the left and full on the pedal as she snaps round half lock the other way and keep the pedal to the floor. the night before I got my last set of tyres swapped I got on a huge car park and had some of that sideways fun. This car has a scary amount of the big T'
