They were custom done. They riveted holes in the under carraige and put 4 white LED's on each side of the car which only light up when the car is parked and you get in or out. They are NOT on while driving.

My shop in Tampa, FL did my whole car including a complete custom interior with Carbon fiber inserts.

Can U give a close up pic of the bottom of the door panel?

I called the Florida shop and they would not share how it was done.

I drove the car from Florida to Texas but not gonna drive back to Florida for a light install....LOL

Are the lights flush with the bottom of the panel or do they protrude a little?

i love the custom puddle lights Tungster...but DAMN, ur shop in tampa put it up your

with the cost for them........ i got quoted half that price for them here in miami... operating in the same manner. I even have the option of a hidden bypass switch in case i want to turn them on for shows...etc.

car is hot... not to mention fast,

I was never a fan of neon lights and puddle lights, I'm still not a fan of neon lights but I'm warming up to puddle lights, they look good on tungster's SLK.

Well....it was custom and they did everything on my car so its all good. If I was worried about the money then my car wouldn't be half of what it is today.

If you get yours done take pics. I'd like to see how good a job that they did and good luck.
