| Hi My 320 came with only the Merc badge at the rear - no SLK320. What do folks feel about these badges. Should I get one back on there? Or does it make it more of a target? Do you think there would have been one originally? thanks Shona |

| Shona - I think its more a matter of personal choice. I noticed a whole lot more "de-badged" cars in Europe and the UK than I ever saw in the states. |

| I would leave it unbadged. Easier to wash, dry and wax too.

If you do fit them you will need the templates or the production drawings from MB otherwise you might as well use a blindfold and guess.

| shona: By all means, do not put an SLK55AMG badge on it ![]() When I have been in the UK and other parts of Europe, I have noticed that many (and in some areas, the majority) of the Mercedes models had no model and engine size designation badges. I've been told they can actually be ordered new without these badges.I suspect your was one of these when new.

| No, no, no Ferrari "posers" allowed. As I said before, most MBs I saw all over Europe had no model or engine designation badges. That's fine if one lives in Europe as the car will "fit right in". As DanSLK says, it is a real problem to put them on and get the position right. If you want them back on badly enough, have a good body shop do it.
