Another wheel sizing question

Hi everyone,

Im a noob. I recently got a 99 slk230 with 33,000 miles on it and am loving it.

another quick question on wheel sizing. I am planning to upgrade the wheels from 16" to 18". the specs of the wheel i am planning to get are:

F: 18x8 et 30
R: 18x9 et 35

The tires would be:
F: 225/40-18
R: 255/35-18

There is also another option for the front and it is:

18x8 et 35

Which offset should i get?

Should these be ok?

any input would greatly help.

Welcome dr_feelgood. Do you know the offset for the front and rear OEM wheels?

I run 8.5 18 35mm and 9.5 18 35mm no issues

I live in Italy and following our laws i can not install wheels bigger than 17" on my slk 200 Evo

If i install 18" and i do an accident, the insurance won't refound me also if i'm right. I decided to buy 17" ( when i'll have spare 1000 Euros )
