Default outside mirrors

I have an '09 SLK55. In MBUSA website literature
I read that a feature is, "Parking assist right-
side mirror can tilt down upon shifting to Reverse".
Mine doesn't. I have searched for a setting in the
custom settings, but can not find anything to
enable the right-hand mirror to tilt down in
reverse. Is this a feature? If so, where do I
find the setting?.....thanks in advance for your
replies......

Not available on US cars for the last few model years. MBUSA has a lot of out of date info.

In my 2008, When you put it in reverse, You have to manually lower the mirror via the center console.
Once you put it in reverse, The right side mirror indicator lights up.
* You have to also manually push a memory seat button to move it back to its original position.
I think that is what they meant, I still feel cheated I have to do it manually.
My buddy's 2002 Acura TL does it automatically in reverse, Go figure our car cost about double.

Not to be off topic, I found by accident when you push the roof button twice, All the windows lower *Even the rear. *When the top is up.
It may be in the manual, But I found it by mistake.

For all models except the 09 USA models, it is a standard feature.
For 09 USA Models you need the smartTop module for it to work.

This feature is present even without SmartTop module, for pre facelift models. It should be like 2 mouse-clicks quick.

I looked it up and set it up according to the manual and this feature works on my 05 SLK. However, I noticed that it only works if I the passenger side mirror button is active. When I pressed the driver side button to adjust the mirror and the red light came on, the passenger side mirror didn't tilt when I put the car in reverse. After I hit the passenger side button, the feature started working again.
