|  slk55 does not have a supercharger. that's probably an e55 or something

 | Has anybody noticed that the new AMG engine covers are ugly i much prefer an exposed system than some horrible plastic cover even the CF ones on the 65's look ugly like somebody has just dropped a slab of plastic over a finely crafted piece of machinery and not thought twice about it.

| I remember back in the 70's people would remove ugly tin shields from their Volkswagens. To make it look better they sacrificed the number 3 cylinder (from overheating), the tin Shields served a purpose. The way I look at it, if something is necessary engineering wise, make it look presentable. |

| Yeah i have seem plenty of cars with the AMG covers removed completely and 2 separate boxes holding the filters most of the cover is purely cosmetic i mean its just plastic all it does is give more of a radiator effect. I mean they keep the heads clean but thats about it i just wished they looked better
