|  UK Gas Wars Hey - for those of you living in the UK, Tesco's, Marks & Sparks, and Sainsburys are in a price war over petrol prices. In Greenwich, Sainsburys is winning at 1.149, with an additional 5p off a liter with a 50gbp purchase, so 1.095 per liter... (and yes, that does translate into $8.24 a gallon.)  |

|  Gas war. Haven't heard that term in about twenty years. Lately, it's the oil producers against us (consumers). Gas prices are getting better. Paid $3.69 for regular unleaded (Mazda6) this morning in central VA. I believe premium unleaded was $4.04.

| Things are looking up, . . .I filled up wife's car today (87 octane) for $3.40/gallon! The question is: will prices continue to drop or will they go back up? Or, . . .is this just a tease!! |

 | In the cities they all made a real schoolboy error and priced themselves right out of the market so the demand dropped, if they want to sell the prices have to come down. Doesn't apply so much in the smaller places with less choice mind you.
