SLK World Site Issue: Album Images

All,

The site is currently experiencing an issue related to the display of album images. These appear not only in the album section, but other areas of the site as well. Bill has spent a great deal of the day working on this issue, and will continue to do so. However, a resolution can not be implemented until root cause isolation is conducted and the correct course of action is decided upon and tested. A number of possible causes have already been explored and ruled out.

An estimate of the time to repair is not currently available.

All other areas of the site appear to be functioning as expected.

Just to add:

When I reply using the quick reply window, it tells me there's an error when I click the Post Quick Reply button (even though the quick reply is actually accepted).

Bill worked his magic and we are OK again. He gave up another full day of his normal job on this and other issues. As usual, we owe him a great deal of thanks.

Bill will continue to research what may have caused this. There were some critical patches and updates applied and backed out, a new tool deployed for site code rewrites, and lots of log inspection. However, no clear root cause has yet been found. A minor code change has us up and functional now, and we hope it stays that way while further research is done.
