Default Vario Roof MOD. Install Demonstration.

Ok so I was trying to install my Vario Roof Mod. It was All good until I couldnt get into my Connection Box under my carpet. SO after a half hour of sweating like a pig in that little compartment upside down, and then not being able to get my connection box open, I put everything back and muffled a few curses and walked away still somewhat sane before I went and blew up my car.

SOOOOOO At the NORTHEAST Meet this weekend, I am going to bring the several tools that you need, all my parts, and we are going to do a GROUP INSTALL! woohoo! haha I know someone will help me, but it would be good to take several photos during the install to show people how to do it more in depth then the at times lapse instructions!!!!

The hardest part for me in the install process was removing the CANBUS connector cover. The floor channel cover was the second hardest.

I’ll be able to help you @ the NorthEast Meet. Now I can do it blindfolded in less than 15 min. But NR4L will be there too and he’ll probably do it using one hand only, in less than 5 min.

I'll be looking forward to pics and tips, especially on the removal of the CANBUS connector cover. Some comments on how varioroof modules from different manufacturers compare would be appreciated.

ya we will do that. I think my lack of time and patience, and probably the blaring heat from being under there, will turn out to be a greater good.

I think everyone is bringing a camera so we should be good!
