|  carbon mirrors Does anyone know if its possible to order the new mirrors for the SLK55 in carbon? ...someone other than MB...dont think they make them, but perhaps an independent shop....? ideas...? Thanks for any info. |

| now that would be nice! unfortunately I have no info for you on this mod, but carbon fiber mirrors would like great on a darker SLK (capri, black, maybe even palladium silver). |

| I cant see them on a Mercedes benz since they are primarily not tuner cars such as Audi, BMW and VW. I think they would look great and sporty.

 | Well, the old verision of the mirrors were available in exposed carbon from AMG, i'm sure it's just a matter of time before the new mirrors are done up as well? Personally i don't like how it would transition, the joint would look weird, one side being carbon and the other being paint colour. I prefer the JGTC style mirrors...or the M3 style with the little stalks and small mirrors. |

| Thank you guys for your input. Since they seem to be different shades of carbon (some being lighter in shade and others darker) made me think of a possible mod. ...for now its just a thought. I upgraded my wheels (mucho buckos) changed to smaller antena (like it the best) and was thinking about some carbon... later would like to add some extra horsies...oops did I just say "horsies" .....??? |
