Gear Lever Badge

I recall a few months ago someone (Bill T perhaps) was working on a badge to replace the bland badge currently on the gear lever. Did that ever take off, if so how do we order one and what is the cost? Thanks

You can get it via amg performance studio, give the guys at allferterbach a call since you reside in Germany and its easy for you to get one.

Really? Not aware of this, nor the cost. Do you have any additional information?

Expensive really thats what I know about the gear knob.

I don't know about getting them in the US but AMG are the guys to speak to.

You will need a new shifter and the plaque to go in it, and for what it is it's very expensive.

Thanks all, I thought I saw a thread where some of the forum members were working on a prototype. The pictures of the prototypes were some type of stick-on badges and actually looked quite promising... Perhaps I was dreaming...

Dreaming. We had been kicking it around, but it really wasn't worth it, might as well get the original. I COULD copy it at my business, but it really isn't worth the risk for me as we deal with a lot of MB dealers, and it might affect our business.
