| Anyone here used Carsdirect.com? They are pretty much offering $10k of MSRP for the 2008 SLK280. Seems like a good deal to me, if they can follow through with it. While the SLK300 is out, getting $10k off vs. paying sticker on what is essentially a cosmetic update seems like a good deal to me. Any thoughts? |

I'd suspect that you could visit any dealer with a '08 280 on the lot and strike a pretty good deal.

In the UK, there is only £1k premium for a 3 year 350 auto with electric everything compared to a similar base manual 200. So perhaps a similar difference for pre and post facelift? (assuming same spec, age, miles)

| Try to deal with your local dealer, using the pricing info you have from carsdirect.com, because establishing some rapport with your servicing dealer should make a difference in the future. |

| I made a conscious decision to buy a 280 pre-facelift in March. Saved quite a lot of money and avoided that buck toothed bumper. Am I alone in not prefering that goofy smile? I didn't go for command so i only lost out on the bluetooth radio and had to buy the bluetooth puck for handsfree. |
