| One of my relatives is looking to purchase a new car and saw a nice s320 that they want to buy, but asked for my advise, so i'm turning to you guys as i know nothing about non-r171 mercs. The details that i've got of the car are uk spec, 1998, 88k miles, auto, leather, non-merc sat nav/dvd, heated seats, alloys, i don't know if there are any other extras, but will find out. The only thing that does not work is the a/c but the owner said that it only needs gas and that he'd sort it before selling it on. Price of the car is £5k. Where can i find what was standard on an s320 when it was new? And what type of options should i be looking for on the car? Cheers guys. |

| Just my 2 cents worth. I would recommend continuing to look and find a new or used SLK 350. I have had an SLK320 and an SLK350. The SLK320 is a really good car. The SLK350 is a GREAT!! car! I know if I had to make a choice between the 2 there is no question I would get the SLK350. |

| sorry mtiede, i did actually mean an s class 320, not the slk320. do you use the "new posts" page? i always get confussed using that too. i'll read posts relating to the r170 and think, "um, that doesn't sound right!" Actually, i just realised, i posted this in the general discussion for r170/r11 folder, my bad, should have probably put it in off topic. Sorry. |

| Try edmunds.com or KBB.com on used car prices. I am however not sure on pricing for overseas models, like those in the UK.
