| It is COOL! Ferrari was going 150 mph and the SLK with the SLR engine was probably 5 car lengths ahead.

| An SLR engine is just a modded SL55 engine I think, Witht he money the SLK could be modded for it without the engine swap.

| Your right easty it is just the 5.5 V8 engine same block as used in all the 55's SLK included just with a little more boost from the supercharger and some basic mods to things like the headers

| Post up the mods, that would be cool. I was just saying though, that I'm sure it would have been cheeper modding the stock engine rather than buying an SLR engine and doing the swap. I guess it all depends how cheap he came by the engine.

| This has been posted in many other car forums, as well as multiple times on mbworld.org, nonetheless it's a crazy fast car but the price is probably outrageous, probably would have been cheaper to just kleemanized it and yield the same results. If you have the money I guess why not? |
