| Just getting an idea of how many use it for a daily commute to work and how many of you just take it out on the weekend to stretch its legs. I'm most likely going to end up with my 350 as a daily driver, thankfully there's very little traffic on my commute to work so i can stretch its legs daily :P |

| Other than winter storage, it's used everyday...sometimes all day *L*.

| My 350 is used all year round: Rain, hail, sleet, whatever (and that's only the summer here in Ireland). Once a year I drive to the South of France so it has to deal with heat as well. Being a Merc, it has never missed a beat. In fact, some of you may recall that I decided to buy another SLK rather than a used AM Vantage. Partly that was because I didn't think the AM would stand up to any sort of hard use. Interestingly, I got talking to an AM mechanic a few days ago and he told me I had made the right decision. |

| Yeah, mine's really going to be a "second" car, but it will be the daily driver when I'm stateside. |

| I sort of have it the other way around. I take the SLK to work daily. Unless I am playing golf, it is mostly the 400h that take us around during weekend. I think the SLK is my "weekday" car then |

| but I'm having so much fun driving it, I think it will be the daily driver during the summer months. The 211 wagon is sitting in the garage, wondering what happened. I guess I better start it this weekend so the battery doesn't get run down from lack of use. |

| I don't drive my SLK as much as I would like. I admire those that drive theirs daily. The limited time I do drive it, I love every second. Perception and parking at work are a problem. I do so periodically, and tomorrow is one of those days.

| Let's see, 15 months, 2,500 miles, yep a weekend warrior. Part of the problem is terrible parking at work and recent installation of weird speed bumps that would take the front valence off. |

Same here...........don't trust my coworkers enough around my car. My car would end up being the nicest one on the lot and that would attract nothing but trouble.

| Almost 3 years and 10,xxx miles, I don't drive it in the winter, it's a fair weather car. Don't drive it in the rain b/c I'm too lazy to wash it. Would love to drive it every chance I get but, I'm off 3 to 4 days a week, and have a four year old to haul around, so I take the SUV. |

| Only comes out of the garage on sunny days. Can't stand the thought of it being alone in a parking lot. Thats were I seem to pick up most the other damage on our other cars |

| Daily driver for me, and the weekends as well, unless we're hauling something, than we use the wife's SUV. 115,000 miles and going strong!!
