| It looks like if I want to get a loaner car, I have to bring mine to the same dealer. On my last trip they fixed 2 out of 4 items, and broke another item. In the notes on my work order they said that I declined something when in fact they never talked to me about it. I have to wait a couple weeks to get an appointment to fix the item they broke, even though it caused a check engine light. Now, if I give them a bad review I'm sure they will be hard to work with in the future. If I call and talk to the service advisor, I think it will appear like I was complaining to get something out of them, which will again probably cause issues in the future. |

| Tummy, I work in the retail industry and though the items for sale are different, the outcome for both is desired. A happy customer. Do not be afraid to push your issue. If you are not happy, let the dealership know...and let them know why, just be polite. Everyone, no matter what they do, deserves and desires respect and simple courtesy. That being said, you have purchased an item that REFLECTS what their company stands for and you have a right to have it corrected properly. If you feel that you are not being heard, go higher. Do not waste time argueing. Simply move up the food chain. Also, do not believe for one second that that chain ends with the dealership, it's much higher and do not want you to understand that. There are districts, regions, and ultimately manufacturer levels that can be contacted. If your requests are reasonable, do not be afraid to let them know that you as a customer have an issue with their product that needs addressing....just remember to be kind, fair and firm....Most people understand reasonable. |

| I think you will find 99.9998% of the dealers will give you a courtesy car so long as you ask for one when you make the appointment and are prepared to let them fit you in around when a car is available, some dealers ask you to pay the insurance costs if you didn't buy the car from them but that's basically pocket change for anybody. If you don't give them a bad review and take your car elsewhere the only person who gets chewed up and spat out is you, they will just continue to damage your car and most probably car's belonging to other's as well.

| When I was looking to buy my SLK 350, I went to the only dealer in the area. For the second time, they acted like they were too bothered to try to sell me a car. I asked them what would be the difference if I bought it from them or someone else. They said, "If you buy it elsewhere, we won't give you a loaner if you get your car worked on here!" So I went a couple of hours away and bought the car there (my second time of doing this whole process of trying to buy locally). Last time I got it serviced, they wanted to give me a loaner. I don't think the sales guys know WHAT the service guys do. And probably vice versa. |

| Dan and mtiede are right. On many occasions, at 2 different dealerships, I had some work done and when you call to make your appointment, ask for a loaner/courtesy car and they will give you an appointment based on that. As for giving a bad review, I would do it, mainly because that is the only way the dealer will know something is wrong. Also send your complaint to MB and see what kind of response you receive. I'm sure that you aren't the only one. Plus, if your complaint is registered and the dealer is reprimanded, I would think the complainant will remain anonymous. |

| First, tell them politely in the review or feedback and talk to the service manager. If you're still not satisfied, then go to customer service of MBUSA. Most service departments are competitive and will still give you a loaner, whether you bought the car from them or not. The one I go to mainly ask that an appointment be made and ask for a loaner at that time, so that a loaner car will be reserved for you. The other loaner cars mainly go on a first-come-first-served basis (for those without appointments).
