I've just got back from Germany collection with my 350 facelift (had a 350 before). It's palladium silver with gullwing red leather and AMG 18" twin spoke wheels. Had a great time - MB looked after us well as always and now have 1000 mls on the clock. Really pleased with the car - I like the grey - had iridium with black before - the red seats are a bit bright but I'll get used to them! I really like the wheels but a bit scared about kerbing them - they are part polished part painted and would be expensive to repair. The new Direct Steering is very good - really progressive and feels like the old one at speed but much lighter at parking speeds. I now prefer the new balck buttons on the dash to the old silver ones and the new instuments are quite good - the needles are a bit clumsy looking on the clock and fuel gauge. The COMAND is much more sophisticated than before. The radio has a retro feel with a needle and station names on the display. It will also take 6 cds thru a slot and mp3 discs work well - now theres some room in the glove box too as no cd changer in there. For the Euro version there is an SD memory card card slot which does NOT need an adaptor. I've got the ipod connection which is a coocket in the glove box - you need to buy a set of leads - 59 Euros (dollars), which give you the ipod lead and a usb connector. The ipod works well and all the track, artist, album info is shown on the main screen. The sat-nav is much cleverer and has really sharp graphics. It's easier to set destinations and it seems to constantly display petrol stations. Depending on if you are in town or country it will occasionally show a split screen with either plan form or 3D graphics for the details of the junctions. On motorways it will even show a third bit of info which shows which lane you should be in. I like normal north up 2D maps so I haven't used the 3D map format yet but it is an option. This is now a really good bit of kit! I haven't yet had chance to set my mobile phone up to sync with the bluetooth function or to work out hoe to program the Linguatronic function - that will have to wait till the week end Well the dealer is fitting my UK number plates tomorrow so I will be street legal again soon. If anyone wants any more info please ask. Hope my phots attaches below - its from the Bremen collection centre.

| Let me just tell you that you've got one looker, the grey over red works brilliantly and I dont think you will get bored of this stunning combination over time but to appreciate it as its a great summer colour due to the bright interior and a proportionally well winter colour due to its dark exterior hue. Congratulations and enjoy it in the best of health, thank you for your well covered narrative I appreciate taking your time to write this to us.

congratulations!! I like those wheels!! definitely an improvement over the previous version. It also sounds like a great improvement with the Commad system, the existing one really dated compare to any protable one or other car manufacturer.

According to Dan, this wheel already exists for other existing AMG models. I love the look of them too. Wonder how they would look in 19".

Hi there! congratulations! your car looks really good! I have ordered a 300 too, which I should be picking up from Bremen in June. I have included a "media interface" in the specs, is this the iPOD connection or do I need to get it seperatly? Where did you get the leads from ? if you got them form MB is there a part number? Thanks in advance, dealer .. not sure.. and your help would be appreciated. Ciao P

From what I have seen online, it looks like that NAV is still the same old NAV, but with a different "skin". Is it a touchscreen? Does it find the EXACT address if you enter a house address? Or does it still just find a RANGE of numbers and you could be BLOCKS away from your destination when you say it is there (like my NAV)? Congrats on a great looking car! Always great fun to have a new one...
