Thanks for all the good wishes guys - now got my UK plates on so I'm street legal.

Wimbledon SLK - You will really enjoy Bremen - get there by 8.45 - 9.00am so you can get the 9.45 English factory tour. First time I did the SLK production line this time it was the SL - both really interesting! Actually got my car just before lunchtime - so if you want you can be on the road by 1pm. The scariest bit is driving out of the collection hall - the doors seem really small! You can buy the ipod connection lead from the Bremen on-site shop. You get a lead to connect to the ipod, to a usb device and to a jack plug. Part No is A001 827 65 04 but the man in the shop will know what you want. 59 euros.

mtiede - no sat nav is not touch screen and still doesn't accept full postcode in UK, but my limited experience so far is that its miles better than before

Drcarerra - Enjoy the car - if its your first it'll blow you away if its not you'll appreciate the difference

Some more pics should follow - I will take a better internal shot this weekend and yes the leather is that red!

Thanks for the additional pics. Looks WONDERFUL. Those are the best stock wheels since the AMG five spoke wheels. Congratulations.

Car looks great!

I'm not usually a big silverish color fan, but that shade is very attractive, especially with the red interior.
