As of Friday I am a new owner of a 2005 SLK 350! It only had 15k miles on it, certified pre-owned from Mercedes in Tyson's corner (VA). I have pics too.

One question (of many) - How do I adjust the internal light brigtness (where's the dimmer switch?)... Sounds silly, but I have only skimmed the manual and I didn't see anything on it.

You can adjust the insturmrnt panel allumination with the (upper) two buttons on the left side of the odometer housing. The lower button is to reset the trip mileage, average mpg, etc,...depending on what mode you're in.

PS: I bought an SLK350 a few weeks ago, with 15K miles on it also.

Thanks for the info, both of you. Now why would they put them in such a hard to find location? I'm curious now as to what the colors are...

(they're all the way off right now).
