Its a sedan vs coupe, we need to see the M3 sedan vs the C63 030 perfromance package and then judge them with the RS4. Nothing the less, I find the C63 to be a monster of a car with a kleemann performance kit which consists of a ecu tune, drop in filters and headers I am sure the owners can reach the E63's power output with high flowing catalytics and some cams as well.

Thank you for sharing Bill, I've downloaded this episode a couple of days ago. I really cant wait for Top gear to go back as I find them more entertaining than Fifth gear, I've heared they go back on air later on in May.

Thanks for the link, first time seeing this vid, the C63 looks better, looks funnier to drive, but kinda out of control on the track. BMW is still a track beast compared to MB.

Tiff is not a bad drifter either! *L* I think in real world driving, where 99% of drivers spend most of their time, the C63 will be the better choice.

But then again, in REAL real-world driving, the C350 is an even better choice. I think Top Gear summed it up perfectly in their comparison:

M3: Sublime
RS4: Civilized
C63: Insane

My own preference would be associating with the sublime rather than the insane.

True enough! *L*...but I'll stick with insane since she-who-must-be-catered-to just says I'm crazy when it comes to cars

I am sticking with the insane if I was going to get a saloon,

I like the 6.2 high revving motor, doesnt lack torque when you compare it to Audi's 4.2l FSI and especially the 4.2l BMW V8.

The C63 has the "sunshine roof" as stated by Jeremy Clarkson which is basically a panaromic roof, I would get the C63 because I am very familiar with the Mercedes instrument panels and interior decor which would suite me directly rather getting used to Audi's interior which just looks like the dentists office or the BMW's high dashboard with the I-drive.

A friend of mine had a 335ci that broke down quickly, he was very frustrated with the frequent faulty codes being thrown of and the defects that range from over heating to the malfunctioning of the fog lights.

He sold it but he didnt lose that much lets say around 5k for a years usage, he is now on the list for the Skyline GTR.
