Default UK roadside MB assistance, my experience

Hi guys,

On my way to Gatwick airport the red light "check tyres pressure" comes on. The right rear tyre was starting to go flat and a huge bolt was sticking out !!! Very quickly I prepared to change the tyre while the pressure was mounting as take-off time was approaching ! Sadly I realised that I had wheel locking bolts and no adaptor for them!
I called MB assistance and my saviour showed up within 40 minutes!

I certainly cant complain! thank you! I did make it on the plane.... only just....

Also, I am pleased with the tyre pressure detector. I was given the warning sign well before the tyre was fully deflated.
Luckily, I had only a small piece of luggage, otherwise I am not sure where I could have stored my flat tyre... perhaps behind the passenger seat?

Good job I did not call the RAC... or similar

P

I am glad that everything turned to be okay, its a good thing that you left home early or else you would of missed the flight.

I know what you mean had first time experience with this, got my food through Costa coffee in terminal B a muffin, coffee and some biscuits as they weren't serving food due to a strike a couple of years ago.
