Default Brabus Springs

I have an opportunity to get a used set of Brabus Sport Springs for my 350. I am looking to lower the stance of the car more for aesthetic reasons than any other. I am wondering if there are any disadvantages to using a set of 1 1/2 yr old springs from another car. The savings would be around $375.00 but am wondering if it is worth it. Any opinions or info would be greatly appreciated.

go for it.

As far as i know i dont see anything wrong with then.

Brabus are eibach springs anyway, so they are great stuff. IF you can get them for cheap, and you were looking to do it, go for it!

Go for it, 1.5yrs doesn't sound too bad, if you get it at a good price, definitely wouldn't pay more than half for old springs but that's just me.

Go for it , Brabus are tuv certified and are highquality. Its quality is perfect, I drove a friends W203 C200K Brabus and its very comfortable where I didnt even feel it was a lowered, sportier or un-comfortable.

I think it's the same one I saw on ebay, it came from a 2005 SLK350, so he should be okay.

Yes, one and the same....I am just waiting to check and verify model numbers before committing. Either way I will be lowering the car.

I am very excited...in fact I thought about doing a photo-simulation of what it would look like in the lowered position....The Body shop is going to do the install for me for about $200, a great price I thought...the only downside to the whole thing is how I will then be able to clean the inside of the wheel wells..he,he,he

You should be excited, it's going to look really sporty and aggressive, the way it should be from the factory, IMO.

$200 is a great price.

I was part joking part serious..actually I never drive the car in rain or snow and it's garaged under dust cover so it dosn't get very much dirt. I do however plan on taking the wheels off in winter and cleaning/polishing the inside of rims... brake dust just washes away.

Wish I had a lift so I could wax the underside..he, he
