| very very nice corckscrew. i myself picked up my S350 yesterday in London and drove it home. I absolutely love these cars. mine is going to be used purely for work purposes however, but that 8 hours on the road showed me the price justification. such a great car, and i can only imagine the comfort and refinement, not to mention the sure speed that S600 has. did you get the infr red night vision? |

| wow....some spec list. what is the night vision like corckscrew? The i-drive is a great bit of kit, took a while to get used to the knob thing, but it is a great gadget to fiddle with once used to it. |

I agree...the nob takes a bit of getting used to but once you are familiar with it it is very fast. The learning curve on the new S is the longest that I have experienced on any car...largely because there are so many new gadgets and the new configuration. | |

| That is a very smart car! I know I mentioned about getting the 320CDI (sensible option!) but to be perfectly honest if I'd got the money I'd have gone for the 600. I tend to be very good at giving sensible advice out but generally not very good at taking it. I'm pretty sure though that once you'd added all the gadgets, that come standard on the 600, to the 320 I'm sure the difference wouldn't have been all that significant and even if it was the V12 badges on the front wings would have been more than worth it!! Congratulations! Just wondering whether you've had the chance to try out the Distronic and what your thoughts were? It sounds like a fantastic idea but not sure how it transfers into real life? |
