On a Truck Somewhere between here and there

Still don't know when Cruzer 8 will arrive she's coming from Tucson by transport truck --- no news as of this pm
We've spent 2 days this weekend in utter shock that we actually bought the car from euphoria to depression and all that's in between.
Today we went to the bank and transferred the money reality check
(o cr*p ) 20 years savings gone.
This afternoon we finally accepted what we did and now we just want her to get here. The next couple of days are going to be very very long indeed.

Dont worry about the money, money comes and money goe's. You have got to enjoy and spend it one day and thats why personal saving is spent on Stocks as life invesment.

Anyway the wait is a killer and you wont sleep without thinking of your Red SL trust me, you will get out of yoursleep coming down to the garage looking at your SL several times.

Congradulations its a nice car!

Have you prepared the nursery (Garage)? When is the baby shower?

"The Garage" is getting there have to move the extra fridge off to the side to get the extra length so Jo feels comfortable parking her.
She will have the one double car garage all to herself
There is door savers on both walls and now we are getting a laser light for the depth stop guage.

The shower --- if we didn't get your "transporter friend "--- should be Friday or Sat

I use a low tech method of yellow foam ball(s) hanging from the ceiling and connected to the top edge of the garage door with pulleys and fishing line. When the garage door is opened, the foam ball descends and marks the exact spot to stop (i've adjusted it so that as soon as the windshield touches it, the spot is the correct place). When the garage door closes, the foam ball moves upward toward the ceiling and is out of the way.

Gene, I may be passing by Elk Grove on the 5 freeway when my daughter moves to Sacramento in a few weeks. We're actually going to be at the Sacramento area this weekend to look at places to rent (using the minivan

). I can draw a diagram and send it to you if you so desire. Cost is probably less than $2 USD.
