Default E Class convertible??

Saw an E Class convertible on the freeway today. Older model body type. Didn't know they made them?? Or was I just seeing things?

The older E type body, circa 1997 or 1998, may have a cabriolet version (soft top).

The E-Class cabriolet was only built on the 1985-1995 body (I believe it is the W124 chassis). The last one was built in 1995, as an E 320. In the movie "The Firm," Tom Cruise, as a newly-recruited attorney, was given one as a company car. I don't even get my parking paid by my employer! Dinoman

Be nice if it had video clips.

I was leaving work today and as i merged ont Rt4 West, guess what was driving right next to me... The mystery E-Class convertable!

This is when the "forum" and "real world" have crossed over into each others realm. <are we really in the matrix>

What's interesting is that the original car Tom Cruise's character received in the book "The Firm" was a BMW 318. This was "smartly" replaced with the Benz by the movie producers.
