Bangkok's Batmobile

I found this 'Batmobile' on a Sunday morning drive to a remote area of Bangkok. The owner is superstitious and loves bats. He drives this thing every day.

In the rural areas of Thailand bats are eaten. Whenever I drive north of Bangkok I pass roadside stands that sell cooked bats. Anyway, here is more of the Batmobile.

I put bats and rats in the same category, something I would never try intentional unless, I'm dying. Frog legs isn't bad but not something I crave for. escargot (snails) has a funny feeling going for me so no thanks.

I crave sushi, Love Japanese and Chinese food and I also love Mexican food.

Beef Fajjita (Mexican)
Beef Tepenyakki(Japanese) and California Special Sushi

Saw bats for sale in Ghana once. I always refer to them as "bat on a stick". They were skewered and burnt black. I didn't try them...

That guy should be more superstitious of his truck!

Never tried bat...didn't even know it was a delicacy. Then again, I didn't know a few things were delicacies until I got to Okinawa.

I'm with Ynot on the bats and rats, as well as the frog legs. They're ok. However, I do enjoy properly prepared escargot. There really isn't too much I won't at least try.
