Mine is a daily driver. I do drive the wife's Vue when the situation demands it, like hauling things, but other than that the SLKs all I got.

SLK is my daily drive, but use wifeys Beemer Tourer diesel for carrying passengers or when the weather is bad or for taking rubbish etc to the tip!

I originally bought it as a fun car and planned on driving my truck but the truck just sits now. Only use it to haul the 4-wheelers to the woods!

Love driving the SLK too much to let it sit!

My 55 is not a daily driver, although I sometimes drive it to the office or on regular errands. Most of the time I drive a Honda CR-V especially in the winter.

Welcome to the forum SLK_girl.

Currently my SLK is a daily driver, but hopefully that will be resolved, I'm looking at 1996/97 miata as a new daily/part time driver. I'm putting way to many miles on my SLK.

I don't think it will help much getting another daily driver since I've put 12,000 miles on it in six months. The good part is 1,200 miles of it is work related.

Thanks and glad to be part of the forum. Bought hubby a gen 3 Miata last summer. He won't drive it in bad weather (bit of wimp, maybe?) He drives the Nissan Titan in bad weather. Me, I dig my SLK out and go. Haven't wrecked it yet.

The SLK is my only car, but I do'nt use it daily as the traffic in Paris is incredible. However, since mid august I drove 12.000 km of pleasure.

This car is amazing. But I didn't reach 280 km/h yet, only 257 km/h on the highway

and the engine was still pushing hard

I drive my BMW bike every day and use the AMG just for fun.

My 2006 SLK350 is my daily driver and Frank drives the 2005 Lexus LS430.

My car even hauls things home from Home Depot. Keep extra towels where the spare tire would normally reside just in case. If we predict multiple large purchases we take the Lexus instead. Anything I can't fit in either of those cars won't fit in an SUV either, so we either rent a van or have it delivered.

WEATHER?!?!?!?! This thing has a metal roof, and heated seats and air scarf! It's the all-weather roadster. Would be a shame to have some idiot slide into it though.
